I may be alone in this, but when an artist releases a single and its music video is just footage from a live performance they did, I can’t help but feel disappointed that we didn’t get a proper video for the song.

I remember this being most common in the 2000s with artists like P!nk, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, and more. Other artists that have done this include Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Shawn Mendes, and Taylor Swift.
