Songs That Repeat the First Verse

Some popular songs repeat the first verse later in the song, often as the second verse or a bridge.

For example, these songs repeat the first verse identically as the second verse:

• Wonderwall by Oasis
• Mr. Brightside by The Killers
• Can’t Get You Out of My Head by Kylie Minogue
• Kiss It Better by Rihanna
• Eternal Flame by The Bangles

Others, like Piece of Me by Britney Spears and Ribs by Lorde follow slightly different structures but still repeat that first verse later in the song.
