Songs That Mention Balenciaga

I know very little about fashion. The first time I heard the name Balenciaga, it was screamed by a witch being burned at the stake in an episode of American Horror Story: Coven.

Over the past several years, I’ve noticed it appear more and more in the lyrics of popular songs — first within hip-hop until it crossed over into mainstream chart hits like About Damn Time by Lizzo and Get Into It (Yuh) by Doja Cat.

It’s interesting how brands go in and out of fashion with musical artists. Gucci, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Versace have no doubt had boosts in sales from past mentions in pop songs. But now, it’s all about Balenciaga.
